'Men in Black III' trailer makes for promising comeback

Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are coming back to theaters next year after a 10 year absence in Men In Black III.

The first trailer has hit the web , and it looks like the third film in the series looks to bring things  back on track after the disappointing second film, simply called Men In Black II, released in 2002.

Not much is actually known about the story in Men In Black III, but time travel will definitely be playing a role, and a spot on younger Agent K portrayed by Josh Brolin looks very interesting.

It will be interesting to see if this film can capture the excitement and fun of the first, and hopefully less of the disappointment that came with the second film. Not only does the film really need a win, but Smith needs the win just as much.

Men In Black III will be Smith's first film in three and a half-years after  his 2008 film Seven Pounds which was poorly accepted by both fans and critics ( a nasty 23% on the tomatometer).

After seeing the trailer I am cautiously excited about the film, it reminds me of what made the first film really fun, but we'll have to wait until the film hits theaters May 25th, 2012 to find out.

Have  look at the trailer:
